Sorry Alabama but being in the SEC where all the pros reside, may have been your achiles heal this year! Alabama in any other conference would for certain be in the playoffs this year. If you compare TCU's resume to bama's it's not close. Tcu has 12 wins bama has 10 TCU's best win is against k-state, bama's best win is against Texas who played an injured backup who tcu also beat when they played their starter. And a loss to k-state is better than a loss to LSU and then you add a second loss to Tennessee and it's not close. 5 of bama's 10 wins came against teams that are either fcs or not bowl eligible, 4 of TCU's 12 wins came against either fcs or teams that are not bowl eligible. So no tcu could lose by 28 and bama will still not get in nor should they

Well the chaos is officially here and I don’t think it’s over. I agree I think Ohio state is in now but if TCU falls to K-State today then I think Alabama has a great chance to get in. But who knows if Purdue can pull off the upset and beat Michigan Alabama could possibly jump Ohio state even if TCU wins. Today is definitely going to be interesting.
There is also Tennessee. I think that ut should be 6 because we best Alabama and they lost to lsu which who ut beat 40-13

Speaking of Tennessee – although wishing to forget the 31-nil pounding they dealt to TCU in 1976 during my first year as a Frog fan – here a shout-out to their amazing QB Hendon Hooker. HE deserves to be a Heisman finalist, too. Despite his season-ending injury, Hooker's numbers are better from 11 games than most QB's who played 12 or 13. Just sayin' . . . Happy to see Max Duggan recognized . . . and recognizing his team-mates and coaches . . . as the Davey O'Brien winner. Worth commenting that Davey O'Brien won the Heisman – for TCU, where he played – in 1938.
I'm a TCU alum and a Horned Frogs fan since my freshman year in 1976, when the Frogs finished 0-11 and suffered beatdowns like 64-10 (at Nebraska); 49-0 (at Miami); 59-10 (at A&M) and 31-0 (at Tennessee). I'm so proud of this – 2022 – TCU team and the way they fought back in the Big-12 championship to force overtime. Respect for Kansas State: their goal-line stand in OT was epic. I pick K-State to beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. Go Frogs!

Max Duggan represents the best of what it is to be a college football player. The athletic talent and effort when on the field and being a high character individual while off of it. Proud of this guy and happy to see him get this kind of recognition!
