What are your NFL Week 2 picks?

  2. @roses2155

"Darren" Payne (Washington DT)… really? Daron, not Darren. And you failed to recognize that the entire D-line are first-round picks. Washington sacked Russell Wilson 7 times, Howell only 4. Denver lost the turnover battle. Washington left two field goals off the board. Washington defense had 50% more QB hits than Denver. The only stat in Denver's clear favor was one long punt return. The rest was equal or in Washingtons favor.

Bottom line? Don't make predictions based on one game. Frankly, using last year as a barometer when the teams changes OC, starting QB, and has a strong draft, is not smart either.

Teddy you lose all credibility by saying "4 years ago" the environment was different. Are you slow?

The “Home Field” advantage is not as relevant because of the Giys in Black & White Stripes and the Narrative Script outlook the NFL wants to keep competitive. Im NOT saying its “Scripted” to the Outcomes. I am currently in the process of putting together a database of the Names/Groups of Refs Their overall Calls on Field, how many, which teams Home/Away get more penalties ect just to nake a few. I am also working this data from as far back as 2020 to current. So once i compile all of it together i will be interested to see the “Narrative Street” from the Good, bad & ugly and the edge it might give knowing how much The Men in Black & White Stripes call Their Games.

@teddy are monster teasers a waste? I seem to hit more often than not…

  6. @stevemurrin2538

Great content!! I would recommend best bet from both of you guys.

  7. @MrMiniPancakes

Bears +9 and Rams +15? I’ll take it!

  8. @chadhayes9078

Teddy mind touching on what your power numbers essentially mean if we like a certain team? For ex you said 8 for Vikings eagles. What does that mean if we like Vikings here?

  9. @StillKeepOnLosing

The narrative that if the WR didnt drop passes then KC wins seems a bit lucadris. Sure it's true but Lions had drops. Patriots had drops. Many other teams had drops yet KC the only team that gets the narrative because it's Mahomies… He was slightly off on most of those throws AND that's why you go get and Pay a WR. Part of footall… Makes sense right?

Hey Guys! Love watching all of the WagerTalk NFL content here in Ireland. I would like to ask a quick rookie question regarding teams ATS record. Since the spread can fluctuate in the lead up to a game and sportsbooks spreads may differ on any given day, what number at what point in time is used for the purpose of recording the ATS statistic? Thank you!

Vrabel's team might underperform but if you compare coaches; Brandon Staley should be coaching high school football and Vrabel will continue to be a leader and expect more from his team.

I love the falcons and chargers in week 2. 😊

  13. @cmichael2573

Hello Teddy.. what would you say the % chance is that the bills lose by more than 3.5?

  14. @FranKing369

Guys great show, hey teddy what do look for in the box scores when you are assessing a game if you didn’t watch the whole game.
    Thank you !!!

Thanks guys for a great show. These are two of the sharpest people on Wagertalk! Quick question…I've had some success with middling totals in MLB, NBA/CBB, and NFL/CFB. In basketball I try to make at least a 10 point window, football at least a 7 point window, and baseball at least a 3 run window (ex. over 9 [pre], under 12 [live]). Do you think these minimum "windows" are good, or would you suggest different numbers for any of those 3 sports. Thanks alot in advance, I think it's really cool you take the time to respond to all these comments. Much appreciated!!

  16. @danielchavez947

How the f@%k do you know who they pick?

  17. @deltoledo6221

What happened to every game on the board (college football)?

  18. @b.trumane

Fortunaught in the live chat mentioned that Bengals/Ravens game feeling like more of an Under and I feel the same way. Two defenses that should perform better, divisional game (AFC North at that, usually defensive struggles). I like Baltimore to cover too. Bengals offensive line issues scare me, even at home. Ravens a running team by philosophy. Cinci might win, but by 1 or 2. Ravens could steal it on the road tho.

Teddy loved your lock of the week last week with the cowboys. Any locks you feel are in for week 2?
