The 2021 NBA Draft Lottery EXPLAINED! [NBA News]

The 2021 NBA Draft Lottery is over. Cade Cunningham will go to the Detroit Pistons. The Houston Rockets kept their pick, while the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves lost theirs to the Orlando Magic and Golden State Warriors (who also now hold 2 lottery picks in this draft). What does this mean for the NBA?

I like the new slick quick video style he has been utilizing.

He just has problems with the pistons winning the lottery cuz he's a bulls fan

Its a good day to be a raptors fan!

  4. @ajcornstar

you are wrong @sportinglogically Denver has better player development than raptors and d they draft intelligently

  5. @DuRtttCoBain

I really hope Toronto gets Jalen Suggs, I think he would develop and fit great with the Raptors💯

Detroit, Houston and Orlando all have 14% odd. so Detroit did not move up they were expected top 3 as well as Houston. only Orlando dropped

Okay here me out. Raptors trade Pascal Siakam, Malachi Flynn, a Second rounder this year and a Future First Round Pick for Andrew Wiggins and the 7th and 14th picks from GS. Then they trade the 4th, 14th and another future first to move up to 2 with Houston so Houston still gets Suggs and then has like 3 other picks this year and more in the future. Raps draft Green and then either Barnes or Johnson with 7, whoever is left… AND THEN! Sign and Trade Lowry for Harrel and Kuzma and sign Dwight Howard to the Vets minimum…… A guy can dream.

Nothing in sports is more rigged than the draft lottery. It doesn't prevent teams from tanking, but just gives the league league power to let whatever team pick wherever they want

What does the lock sign mean?

For me it's all about who's getting Suggs. That kid lives breathes and dreams basketball. He's already a killer. Idk how you pass on what that kid did in his one year in college for anyone in this draft. I prayed to Slick Leonard that my Pacers somehow got in the top 3 cause he's the perfect kind of star for a small market team. From a small town, played at a small school. Like TJ Warren prob finds himself right at home in the largest capitol 'town' in the USA… Indianapolis. Guess we'll have to 'settle' for the best shooter in this draft instead… his teammate Corey Kispert. Unless Pop gets him first. He'll male a nice replacement for McDermott when he takes that big payday the Pacers won't give him somewhere else. He'll plug right in with Sabonis and his dead pick n roll skills.

    Orlando Magic robbed again 😭

    Green to the cavs

  13. @ianL-S

i may be biased as a pistons fan, but i am just glad that someone that hasnt gotten a #1 overall in a long time got one (51 years) cause it just feels like the same about 5-6 teams get it every year.

  14. @icychris__

The ideal situation for Cleveland is selecting Jalen Green and making Sexton a 6th man, because one of the biggest issues with the Cavs was bench scoring and if Sexton is the 6th man the Cavs are a more deeper team

They should be banned from the lottery cuz they obviously don’t know how to pick Haliburton is better than all 3 of there draft picks last year

  16. @shaneralston3030

Krispyflakes was going to stop being a pistons fan last year hahahaha now he is all about the pistons hahahaha to bad they are still going to be garbage no matter what or who they have they are always garbage they had 3 first round draft picks last year and still couldn’t do shit with it

  17. @Truthtella

Logic his hating the fact that he might have to spend time actually talking about the Pistons next year. He briefly mentioned them and moves on. He truly does not like to talk about them. On top of that his precious OKC team with best future of all the teams fell in the lottery. One thing he overlooks is having picks are great but like the Celtics you are going to have to make moves with these picks. You can't draft 4 new players every year. This isn't the NFL draft where having multiple 1sts can move you to the top of the draft. Top 10 picks are precious. One player can change the tide of a team.

Orlando needs to do whatever it takes to trade up to get Jalen green
