StL isnt very good, Wainright is holding the staff together and outside Goldy and Aerado, the offense isnt much. They are by far the best in the division but dont expect them to go very far.
120% put the Yankees 2nd because you're a blue jay fan and don't like the Yankees clearly. The Yankees are absolutely better than Toronto, even with the same team they are better, they won the division, Rendon is a huge signing, the Yankees clearly have the better rotation, and remember, their best prospects are going to all be in play, the blue jays have underachieved every year. So sorry, the Yankees will win the division by at least 8 games. No way they don't win the division, that's crazy.

I know I will get a lot of bullshit for this prediction, but my personal opinion, I think the World Series this year will be decided between the American League Central and National League Central. Just a gut feeling. I think whoever wins the NL Central will go on to be the 2023 World Series Champions. If I am wrong, oh well so be it. Not saying I will be right or wrong. We will see how it all plays out.
I think you’re underestimating the Brewers. Winker and Contreras should definitely help the offense with a decent bullpen and the best starting pitching in the division.

How sad is it you can predict the outcome of the season, fairly accurately, before the season even starts. The financial situation of baseball is a joke.
Your absolutely correct. The Jays are the best team in the East, maybe in baseball.
AL West has to be the easiest division to predict. It might not turn out this way but it sure seems to line up this way with the possible exception of 3rd and 4th place potentially flipping.
Dbacks > Rockies and Giants.
Tatis is only out for 20 games.
The Blue Jays didn't gain 7 games on the Yankees from last year, Bassitt over Stripling is a marginal improvement at best and their outfield moves aren't really an upgrade in my opinion. Hernandez and Guriell were far better offensively than Varsho and Kiermaier and their defense doesn't make up for that. Varsho is also a candidate for regression, despite what many people might tell you, outperforming his xwOBA by 25 points and generally having godawful statcast offensive numbers. Yes he is a pull hitter, yes he will do better without the shift, but any gains he makes without the shift will be made up for by regression to the mean.

Royals as sellers? Who are they gonna sell that’s worth any sort of value? We aren’t gonna trade salvador perez no way, dozier a bag of peanuts and a beer if all you’ll get for him. We have a lot of very young talent 2nd year players and I doubt we trade those guys. The royals will let the young guys play out. We are kind of in a tough spot rn, a bad team with a not so great farm system to boot because of failed pitching development.
