I don't see this draft for the Patriots helping the team make the playoffs this year. Their achilles heal last season, towards the end and into the playoffs, was their DEFENSE, and aside from two under-sized corners, they didn't really address that side of the ball. How the hell do they draft, not one, but TWO RBs AND a QB in rounds 3 & 4 and not take a LB?????? The defense gave up 7 straight TDs on 7 straight possessions to Buffalo in the playoffs. They couldn't force a punt or a turnover. They'll be 6-10 or 7-11 in 2022. Everyone competing for wildcard spots got better.

Seems about right. Gonna be another one and done season. Team made some progress but rebuilding this team, gonna take time. Season after, pats are cap happy again. Rebuild the def then. Def is solid but isn't able to keep up against championship level teams ATM.

You guys are making me feel better about the patriots, even though a C+ is garbage better than a C or a D.
Got some good offensive linemen the guy from Michigan and LSU and cole and getting speed with thorton and Pierre strong ect good CBs. And have a lot of young LBs ect that will be back this year 💪
How is the pats draft better than buffalos? Bills addressed all needs the pats picked a round 3 dude in first round and than a qb after they picked a qb last year in top 15
Davante parker is going to help open things up and their tight end smith is probably going to be more productive than people think. Now their gonna have a speed guy with Tyquan that's going to need some attention for the opposing defenses. You have second year Mac Jones with those stud running backs and an improved offensive line. I think the offense is going to be better than everyone thinks. Now the defense??? That's the worry I have.
