NAKED TRADER'S Guide to Spread Betting by Robbie Burns.

Robbie Burns presents Naked Trader’s Guide to Spread Betting.

Financial Spread Betting is rarely understood in the stock market community, yet the tax advantages are outstanding.
The word betting is often the reason why traders and investors turn a blind eye to the strategy, but it is the same reason why regulators class the approach as gambling and is therefore void of tax.

Robbie uses the tax advantages of an ISA (individual Savings Account) and spread betting to earn a tax free income.

The trading strategies and principles remain the same for a standard brokerage account as they do for a spread betting account.

This book is a sequel to Robbie Burns book The Naked Trader.

  1. @chrisf1600

Nothing on funding costs ? Even for unleveraged bets i've read that many providers still charge daily interest on the total position size, rather than on the amount you've actually borrowed.

  2. @ciaoatutti11111111

Any guidance on how to setup a long term spread betting? I would like to Average a low vatility portfolio but at the same time would not like to have to pay overnight fees for keeping orders open

  3. @lancetschirhart7676

  8. @kenjepson1908

Started my spread betting career after buying his books and going to one of his seminars, really nice guy and I made the seminar fees back the next week spread betting with ideas he came up with at the seminar.

  9. @EvanEvansE3

What's the difference between buying and selling stock shares? I'm confused.

  10. @wevs1801

I am spread betting and looking for a software (free or paid) to link to my SB company and auto export my trades so I can review and track my performance. Does anyone know of any? most seem to be for DMA brokers only and not spread betting companies. I am aware of doing excel but that takes some time importing data when I make around 30 trades per day. Thank you

    Another great video

I personally think 5% deposit is too small, the broker can 'tree shake' you out the position quickly thus leading to a loss. Maybe buffer against this by offering 20% deposit if you are confident any reversals are temporary to protect your longer term target
