Morrell: why isn’t he playing or even being given a chance? Why aren’t the journos asking?
Hylton: lots of energy expended to no great effect.
Dewsbury-Hall: where would we be without him?
Great analysis Lewis. Nathan is fast becoming the Tinker man. Some strange line ups for me… and generous to favourites again. Reading now an official bogey team.
There must be more to Morell not playing? Injury or poor attitude? Most supporters were quite excited when he joined the club, but don't know why he's not getting any game time
Ye thought we played well, 2 me I'd start the team that walked of at 90 minutes against Bristol what do u think, oh and where is Morrell
Hi Lewis, I tend to agree with most things you say, but it is the same old story for many games recently. I dont believe we deserved anything from the game. Reading as you say got their tactics spot on, we did not. I dont like being negative about Nathan as he has done wonders for our club, but I think on this occasion he has to take the blame, and listening to him afterwards, he may realise this. Team selection and tactics were completely wrong. A very defensive line up, Collo on his own up front again, no support at all, and we seem to just be hoping to get to 0-0 late on and hope for a break away, we are not defensively good enough for that, give a good team as much of the ball as Reading had first half and they will hurt you. We were very poor first half, I agree we should have had a penalty, but really never looked like scoring. Credit to Nathan for changing it at half time, but should have picked a more positive starting eleven. Second half we were the better side, had much more of the ball and looked a threat, at least Lua Lua was prepared to have a shot. We have to play Dewsbury-Hall, unless he is not fit, he ran the midfield second half. Morrell? Who knows, hardly seen him play. We have to play two up front, although Hylton was no personal threat second half, just having someone within 20 yards of Collo helps to occupy their defence. If Nathan does not trust Clark, Lua Lua, or Nombe to play up front, then he needs to find someone who will step up. We finished with Clark at full back, what a waste. Hopefully Nathan will have learnt from this game and go with a much more positive line up in the future. I understand we cannot be as cavalier as we were in the lower divisions or we will be punished, but we cannot just keep surrendering the ball as we did first half. You correctly make the same comments each game about our ineffectiveness going forward, time for Nathan to put it right, play two up front, with D-H running the midfield.
Clark and Pelly were passengers! Made nothing but mistakes. You simply CANNOT carry passengers at this level. Agreed about Morrell. Nombe not Hylton!
First half was shocking and like you said Clarke should have picked up there player its not as if it was fizzed into him could and should have been avoided and what made it worse was seeing a poor team like reading scoring against us with ease as much as I don't want to panic yet. can start to see similarities to last season under GJ mistakes costing us as much as Hylton works hard he needs to start taking chances I'm fed up now of saying we played well and lost or drew its a recurring theme. Nathan needs to start finding out what his best team is and sticking with it you don't see the top teams changing it every week after good results no matter how many games you have to play you have to play your best team then if that fails then change things not the other way around. its like he new we would lose to reading so save players for the home games that we still could also lose then you start to look over your shoulder. As much as I love NJ he needs to learn how and when to make changes to the team.

It's a fact that teams only get a few goalscoring chances per game. We usually fail miserably converting these precious chances. We will continue to struggle until we convert our chances.
Reading fan here- fair play to you guys thought you deserved a point over the course of the game. Not much in it either way so 2-2 would’ve been fair. In regards to us, we were missing 7 first team players so I was just hoping to nick a point or 3 and thankfully we did. You lot will be solid mid table this year- good luck for the rest of the season, other than in the FA Cup obviously 🤣
Just not doing the basics right. 3 or 4 times we had easy 10 foot passes but couldn't find our man. This is what started their second goal. Collins under hitting a pass and then Glen Rea just letting his man go. Not good enough.
Reading should have had a player sent off

That was not good enough. Poor for most of the game and reading had a weakened team out as well. and the line up was wrong and we really need to get morrell and nombe in.
That's a bad time losing against reading not good enough that's not too strong
