Aight, let me get this straight: I would prefer loosing 100 world cups but I won't play KL Rahul in my T20 side or test side. When it comes to ODI, we all should be rooting for players like SuryaKumar, Sanju, Ishan or Shreyas. Just two fifties in a crucial ODI matches doesn't means KL's a good fit for No-5. Don't forget we lost the series in bangladesh just cause of one catch (dropped by make shift KL Rahul). Enough chances have been given. It's a shame that you journalists are passing comments such as "ofcourse KL Rahul will walk XI". I agree with Rahul Rawat, you shouldn't roll out red carpet for over rated players.
You guys asked who's backup? It's India, the biggest ecosystem of cricket on the entire planet. There are thousands of players who should get the chance. I repeat tens of thousands of players.
