Italy vs. England Highlights | UEFA European Qualifiers

Italy and England begun their qualification journey to the 2024 Euros with an entertaining matchup! England jumped to a hot start in the first half and didn’t look back, highlighted from goals by Declan Rica and Harry Kane. With his 54th goal in international competition, Kane become the record goal scorer for England. Italy failed to make much of a mark in the first half, but was able to change this during the second half. Featuring a pass from Lorenzo Pellegrini, Mateo Retegui slotted a beautiful strike to grab his first goal in his debut match. Italy continued to press, looking for that second goal to tie the match, but England was able to hold on to a 2-1 victory for the first time since 1961 at Italy.

Will England be able to keep up this momentum?

  2. ApplesAndOranges

I see a pattern with this Italian generation. For the first time since 1958 they missed the world cup in 2018, for the first time since 1961 they lose to England in Italy.

It’s really crazy how many wins that haven’t happened in forever are happening now, England beating Italy away hasn’t happened in 62 years, and Belgium beating Germany hasn’t happened since 1954.

These men are good mentors, at least on the surface. If they are genuine then the impact they will make even on the kids who don’t play pro will change their life

Amazing the desperation for the families to escape their situation to utilise their children’s future. All strength to you.

Youth sports can be a wonderful complement to a child's development. The teamwork, physical fitness, and dedication that is required to be successful at sports all have great value as kids grow older. That being said, the odds of a kid getting a full-ride D1 scholarship are quite minute, and the odds of a kid eventually having a successful NFL career are nearly non-existent. With a focus on study and education, however, the odds of kids improving their lives are far more realistic and attainable. Putting aside the numerous potential pitfalls of serious youth football, it is my hope that these young people will translate their passion for the sport into their education.
If they are good enough, they might make the NFL, which would be of course be awesome. If they aren't good enough at football, however, perhaps they can achieve a good living in another career via their educational prowess. They can strive to live in a safer area, and their kids can enjoy those fruits; this more realistic aspiration met is a documentary I would also love to see.

I grew up in Fort Lauderdale and began playing football as a peewee in 1998. Our team was good, but they would bus us down to scrimmage in liberty city whenever we got cocky, and they would beat the everliving shit out of us. I'm glad our coach bussed us down there to learn that there are people far more hungry than us. Far more aggressive than us. It was a very teachable moment.

That awkward time in childhood when the cheerleaders are taller then the football players.

"30% Of these players will play in the NFL." Coach

WRONG not even close! According to the study, just 0.08 percent of high school senior players will be drafted by an NFL team. In other words, eight in every 10,000 players will eventually have their names called during the NFL Draft.Sep 8, 2015.

What percentage of these kids can read at a highschool level when they are in highschool?
The one young boy who got shot is a travesty!!! Did I see gang signs being thrown up in the air? It's just soo sad!!!
