Brandon goes through an example with a college football parlay: BYU -7, Oklahoma State -4 and California +6.5 point spread. This parlay profit boost is on WynnBet sportsbook, and they’re boosting the odds on this parlay by 15%. He uses lines from Pinnacle sportsbook to back out fair implied win probabilities for each wager and then multiples these probabilities together to find out the joint fair win percentage for his parlay. He shows that this parlay on WynnBet sportsbook is mathematically profitable (e.g. Positive EV), which means that you’ll make money in the long run betting this parlay.
Note that this parlay is not profitable (e.g. Negative EV) without the boost. It only becomes profitable (e.g. Positive EV) once WynnBet applies the 15% profit boost.
