Either the Panthers sign a QB in free agency or they draft one with that first pick. Darnold is not the guy, he regressed, I might be willing to give him another year but he got worse every week, there was just no improvement at all. Their best move is to trade down to the low 20s, get a second 2nd round pick, and go QB, WR and then OL. I will admit, in defense of Darnold, those WRs dropped too many passes but it wasn't enough to excuse his play. If they draft a S with that first pick the GM should be fired.
