They don’t need to change the rule just make it reviewable. Not difficult. Good grief.

  2. Paper Tiger

WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT MENTION THAT THESE PLAYS COULD BE REVIEWED LIKE YOU HAVE SAID A 100 TIMES IN THE LAST FEW DAYS….what a terrible interview!

  3. KBJ KING

Not going to change until former players stop suing the NFL for injuries after football.

  4. Joe DeVincent

Just because the calls are down doesn't mean it's happening and they're not calling it. It just may be that it's not happening as much.

How many games were affected by bad refs last week?

  6. Steve Veasey

They are all judgement calls, theres no rational way to define what is 'unreasonable' force when hitting or tackling somebody. Some QB's (and Wide Receivers) are better actors than others, like Jacoby Brissett got a farcical roughing call after a slight push in the Brown's game by hurling himself backwards and making the play look far worse than it was. Mind you, if they were playing under the 1970's rules every team would be using backup Quarterbacks by week eight so it's a fine line to tread with protecting players….

Jerome Boger needs to step down, he has been consistently terrible for years now

  8. Joe Congdon

We should do what the aafl does and have microphones that pick up everything they say.
Right now penalties feel like pending transactions between billionaires. What's stopping them from whispering in their earpiece "the transaction cleared go ahead and throw the flag"
Steve Young was bailed out of a game losing sack because the ref wanted him to date his daughter. Why not chase after extra cash to help a franchise win more games?

this sport starting to stink. If you're an atlanta fan how do you even keep watching after that. just a sick joke at this point

  10. ASimoneau

They don't need to change the rules. They just need to stop calling bullshit like slinging a QB down when he's still got the ball. You never saw that before last weekend.

The NFL is so hard to watch sometimes.
