LIVE Boxing Commentary: Emanuel Navarrete vs Liam Wilson fo the vacant WBO Super Featherweight Championship – 12 Rounds

After Emanuel Navarrete takes on Liam Wilson today, the super featherweight division should have a new WBO champion.

As a result of Shakur Stevenson’s move to lightweight, the championship is now up for grabs.

In their first fights of the year, the two clash in Glendale, Arizona.

In his most recent match, Mexican Navarrete defeated Eduardo Baez in San Diego in August of last year by decision.

Wilson, an Australian boxer, defeated Matias Carlos Adrian Rueda in June 2022.

    That's what's wrong with boxing . Tell me that 8 seconds wouldn't have made a difference for Wilson? But Wilson got knocked down the referee counted to ten and they went right back at instantly! Wilson. Got robbed he didn't get the same opportunity after he knocked him down the referee got in the way!

    there was a late hit that Joe thought was unnecessary roughness and wasn't called. He got up and screaming (the only few times I see him emotional). can't find a clip of it.

    The nfc championship game shoulda been close too cause of the 49ers elite defense but once Purdy got hurt in his throwing elbow I knew 49ers were gonna lose against Philly cause everything went wrong for the 49ers after that all those sacks, fumbles, 3 and outs miscues with the passing. Atleast 49ers made it to the nfc championship game being they had a 3rd string rookie qb in there cause garoppolo broke his foot and Lance injured his ankle but 49ers defense got them to the nfc championship but the qb injury situation killed them is why they got blown out but that eagles catch on 4th down wasn't a catch and the 49ers shoulda challenged that play coulda been a closer game and different outcome.

    Bengals defense played so poorly this game. They consistently left guys wide open with no one within 10 yards of them. So many easy completions for a QB that could barely walk. How do you let that happen?

    "3 consecutive sacks"…. a little later "Burrow has as many sacks as completions". That's when you know you aren't going to win it… but at least they kept it close and interesting.
