Hey Steve, I respect your view of the game but don't forget this, Tampa started the season winning 3 out of 4 and then shut the engines down playing dead possum vanilla football in the middle of the season while keeping their players rested and not playing hard. Their goal was to win the NFC South and fire up the engines the beginning of December to reach that goal winning 5 out of 6 and the NFC South title!
This was a well executed plan by Coach Bowles and the rest of the staff knowing they will be ready for the playoffs. Don't you think the Eagles had the same game plan? after starting the season 10-1 they thought they come into Tampa and roll over them, they couldn't even get the brotherly push from the 1 yard line!!
They had the same mind set the Lions have knowing they beat Tampa at home 25-11 in week 3! But instead they ran into a MONSTER!!!
The Lions are also dwelling on the 20-6 beat down they gave Tampa at home in week 6. They're going to realize the BEAST has been unleashed Sunday at Ford Field!!!! I guess nobody remembers 80% of Tampa Bays defense won a Super Bowl a couple of years back!! The same defense everyone was saying the high power Chiefs were going to destroy!!! I believe the Chiefs did muster up 9 points in a 31 – 9 whooping.
