I know the Bears haven't had their bye yet but you said if the Bears & Saints both lose the Saints jump the Bears in draft order. How does a 4-9 team jump a 3-10 team?
I know Carter and Anderson are the popular favorites but I really like Myles Murphy.
If we have a top 5 pick I would have no issue trading down for draft capital and hoping Murphy is still there. If not, there is still a lot of D line talent in this draft.
And beating GB only moves us down in the draft order this week. There is still five weeks left and I don’t see us beating Philly or Buffalo so it’s not like a top five pick is gone completely when we beat GB.
I hope the Bears get a W specifically to hush Aaron Rodgers and his “I own you” mantra

-has less experience than Fields
-won't give Chicago future draft picks
-fans will be upset because they support Fields
-It will take him time for him to get use to the NFL and for Chicago to build the team around him
