SB Nation breaks down the team needs for the top 5 picks in this year’s NBA Draft, and simulates the draft by choosing the Nintendo character most suited for each team.

Welcome back everybody, in todays video I wanted to take a look back at the 2012 NBA Draft grades from bleacher report. This was a really interesting class that included Anthony Davis, Bradley Beal, Damian Lillard, Andre Drummond, Khris Middleton, Draymond Green and more! For the most part, Bleacher report did a really good job with their draft grades at the time… but even just a few years later it is clear that some of these players were much better or worse than they expected.

  2. @gitrdone1691

Portland took at #6 Luigi cause they need a tall foreigner, and at #11 Bill Rizer (Contra series) for a good shooter

I am absolutely shocked that Latrell Sprewell from NBA Live '95 didnt go first overall.

  15. @prodiggy13

I could watch a video like this that covered the entire draft. Awesome stuff.

  17. @akumadiavolo

Megaman is a CAPCOM character, not a Nintendo character.

  20. @johnbeardshall2898

    raptors traded Ross for ibaka

  21. @andimencias493

Probably was important to mention that in terms of value, Jeremy Lamb was an A++ because they got James Harden out of trading him

  22. @natecruz7114

There isn’t an argument. Damian Lillard is the best guard in this draft, hands down 100%. Beal just started showing out, but routinely has empty stats for a terrible team. Lillard might even be the best player in this draft, because AD hasn’t done much of anything in the playoffs at all.

  23. @europec2082

Washington had John Wall so unlikely they would draft two pgs in span of 3 years

  24. @BrockMak

6:52 C, I was upset, almost angry when the Blazers didn't retire Sabonis' #11, and he got it.

  25. @chrismathgenius

You're wrong about the Wizards not deserving an A+ for drafting Bradley Beal. Yes, Damian Lillard was the best guard in the draft, but it made no sense for the Wizards to draft him since he is a point guard and they already have John Wall. So Washington's pick is definitely an A+.

To be fair Robinson had his grandparents and mom died within like 3 weeks

“Meyers leonard… portland trailblazers… and member of faze i believe.”😂😂😂

  30. @justinmartin1831

I remember everyone wanted the Cavs to take Harrison Barnes at 4 and ticked when they took Dion Waiters for an unexplained reason. They didnt need Lillard cause they took Kyrie the year before. I swear Cavs took Waiters because they were planning to go after LeBron or knew he was likely coming back so they didn't take another forward.

  31. @jackelison1291

Skip Jae Crowder? Another A+ as 34th Pick.

  32. @austinsauer6846

Rest In peace Fab Melo 🙏🏼
