Jordan should have been #1 pick

  2. Luis Valdes

Number 9 Otis Thorpe had a nice long career. Not so with Lancaster Gordon.

  3. Dj BangsWell

This whole draft was divine intervention. Wow. History. 🙌🏾

O Draft mais importante da história da NBA e um dos maiores dias da história do esporte, simples: Michael Jordan

  7. Eraldo Augusto

Its crazy how michael jordan was just a very good college player, and now he is simply michael jordan.

there is no drafted better than this……

Everyone talks about Portland passing on MJ but remember they already had Clyde Drexler. They needed a big man and took bowie. Sam was actually a good player and at 7 ft 1 was quick. So I'm sure it made a lot of sense then. No one had any idea Jordan was going to be as great as he eventually became. Players like MJ don't come along in every draft.

Charles was always honest. I said he defense wasn't that good yet.

  13. Elisa G

So weird to talk to Barkley about his weight on Stage during the draft.

  14. Thomas Hurl Hi

Not getting jordan with the 1st pick wow

  15. dee brown

Man I did not know that Hakeem olajuwon was the first overall pick in 1984 this was one of the greatest NBA draft ever and I said it first ever of the name that was taken

  16. Andrea Beretta

    At 22.14…..the change of History….

  17. Mamoru Chiba

Some players who was picked by the blazers ended up up as an injury prone

  18. Smoky McPot

Bowie before jordan. Perkins before barkley. Big f ups.

  19. aceventuraify

I actually think without the benefit of hindsight it made sense for Portland to draft Bowie over Jordan. They already had Clyde Drexler playing Jordan’s position.

  20. CIRE Oed

    Stockton
    Jordan
    Oscar Schmidt
    Barkley
    Hakeem

  21. mrbeaverstate

    I hate Marv Albert…..

    The best class was 96.

  24. icedog4

When the best is on the field it brings everyone up.

  25. Christopher Quan

And Portland chooses Sam Bowie. I believe Portland is still reeling from that mistake instead of drafting his Airness.

Loved the Bulls! What a great team! Especially Pippen. I to this day do feel bad though that Stockton did not get that one ring though because Carl Malones ass.

  27. Stévenart jeanne-marie

    Best draft class
1: 84-Hakeem, MJ, Barkley, Stockton, Willis, Thorpe, Kersey and Alvin Robertson.
Only class that can go head to head is
2: 96-Iverson, Kobe, Steve Nash, Ray allen, Marbury, Peja Stojakovich, Jermaine O'neil, Antoine Walker, Z ilgauskas, abdul-rahim were all stars and there were other good guys like Camby, Fisher, Kittles.

  31. Lashawn Barber Barber

Just an fyi, this draft produced 5 future hall of famers in Olajuwon,Barkley, Jordan, Stockton and Oscar Schmidt who was drafted by the then New Jersey Nets but never signed a pro contract because he didn't want to lose his amateur status

  32. Andy Velasquez

Sir Charles had 30+ rebounds one night!!!

  33. Frogy Parra

    Acctually best class

  34. Jason S p u r l e y

    One of them

  35. Freestyle Tunx

Bruh almost forgot how unstoppable Sir Charles was in that 92-933 season especially down the post and how Marley would make you pay everytime Charles gets doubled.
