    Wouldn't trust Walker being either 100% fit after an injury, or the same player at 32 he was at 28. It's not great to be 80% against prime Mbappe. That being said, both teams have problems in the midfield which have not yet been revealed by softer opposition.

    Tchouameni is not ready to fill the boots of Kante and Bellingham has to play in an attacking role. If Jude is left alone defending spaces in the midfield, England will lose just like it has been the case at Dortmund.

    Don't think that will happen tho, as the cautious approach of Southgate will prove helpful in this encounter. He'll play Rice + Hendo below, and allow Bellingham freedom to go forward. That gives England a good chance of winning the game.

    Gakpo at 23 yo is too old to be a young player of the tournament. I think Leeds were the front runner for him in the summer. Was disappointed not to find Bono in the betfair exchange golden glove candidates list. There's a total of 3 Dutch keepers including Gillesen not even in Qatar, but forgot the best keeper of la Liga in 21/22. Wonder what happens to the bets if an "outsider" wins it?

    "Croatia were gassed after 35 minutes". Dunno about that, since they came back into the game in the second half scoring the leveler. But obviously fatigue is a factor here. Brozovic ran 16.7 km kilometers in the game. I'm in the 0-0 HT, Brazil win second half, camp.

    Partly because Brazil lack powerful fullbacks to join the attack from the wings, which plays in Croatia's game plan of crowding the center, and partly because of aforementioned fatigue factor for Croatia's players.
