14 years ago we witnessed arguably the worst pick in the history of the NFL Draft. However, nothing has changed. More than half of 1st round QBs are busts.

All of them besides Justin fields and Trevor Lawrence were busts
Never trust the "experts"
College Football and the NFL are basically two different sports. There's a reason guys like Tim Tebow were unstoppable in college but useless in the NFL. All drafts are a crapshoot at the end of the day regardless of how certain you are on anything.
Ryan Leaf, Russell, Manziel, Art Schlitzer, all amazing QBs physically but with crippling off field issues coaches either ignored or thought they could fix.
How exactly is it Mitch's fault that Chicago sucked. Started out fine, then his coach stopped putting Mitch in a position to win. He actually had them in position to win a playoff game. Guess he has to kick it as well.
Ben Roethlisberger and Aaron Rodgers are the best QBs from that area
I'd say Mariota WAS a bust. And this is coming from an Oregon Ducks fan (If you don't know, that's the team that Mariota played for in his college years). Now he DID do amazing in college. Like, that was his all time high. But once he entered the NFL I think his career just kind of flopped.
Busts should also reflect on COAHES AND TE STAFF THAT drafted the players 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

Trey lance and Zach Wilson are the bust
Zach Wilson already is maybe that's it or maybe 1 more
Don't leave out Zack Wilson

I have NEVER thought that drafting a QB early was a good idea. Why tf would you assume a CHILD is ready to run your billion dollar franchise??? You’re telling me that there isn’t ONE starting or back up QB out there that you’d rather have than someone that’s completely untested??? Lmfao 🤣
It’s clear that there’s collusion between the NFL and NCAA. In college, it’s arguable that certain defensive players should get the Heisman but the nfl MVP almost always goes to a QB. The NFL is still treating football like a failing sport that needs that “air assault” to fill seats. Fans just want winners. Idc if you decide to start an undrafted guy that has never played football before today. I just want to win. Players come and go but as fans we’re always gonna think team first. Just my humble opinion. Don’t @ me.
