   This only holds true if you assume that someone is a non-profitable bettor (aka betting less than 52.38%). Parlays just exaggerate wins/losses. If you win more than the break-even, it is actually a more profitable strategy, just more risky for bankroll management purposes. I assume you know this, but if you do not, I would happily do a write-up for you.

   Kyle, after all the college football done I did learn something following you in that to many times I think you bet with your heart. Both You and Jay. Now with Cris, Toast and most of the time Andy bet with the stats. The Washington game. Michigan had a 6 sos while Washington was 44 sos and it showed. My son says when your hot your hot but you fade when you bet with your heart.

   I play the long tickets. I pick every game (usually just football) and then keep my best 10. I thin it down to six, and again to three. Sometimes I baseball the three teamer. One dollar on every ticket except my best three teamer which plays $3. I been doing this for 50 years. I’m 76. I’ve hit the 10 teams only 6 times, but I figure I’m ahead by 1/3 overall. That was all on paper. Now that everything is electronic, and I can tease and odds shop I plan to do well with long tickets. Taking this idea to include NBA. You making me wish I would have kept a credit/debit sheet.

    Str8 betting is useless as fuck unless u have some money to play with. If u not throwing 100 to 500 on a singel bet dont play at all lol . Might as well parley guys.

    What about when you do 2 and 3 leg parlays, but adjust point spreads of each game to -290 to -330?

    I'm new to sports betting but recently starting tracking all of my bets. The numbers were a real eye opener! My win percentage for parlays is 14.29% which I had no idea it was THAT low! Compared to my straights I am at a 48.86% win rate, still not good but way better than my 3-4 leg parlays. Great video though Kyle.

    Parlays are rigged. Have seen numerous times I get multiple legs only to lose in a late game. Never ever win the three leg ones either. They arrange with the late game teams to bust the parlays based on the information they have. It's literally so bad, I can point it out every time. I did a parlay today, anytime TD scorer. Last leg was a sure thing, guy gets it every game. Only one guy scores a TD tonight and he's a rando. Both QBs kept screwing up and it had to be intentional.

    I'm done. I'm up, time to stop.

    Hey Kyle, your parlay analysis is spot on. But one thing that can make parlays not hurt the bettor too bad is this. If your straight bet unit is $100 and that’s your straight bet for multiple games. You may find some ml dogs that are very attractive and thus make a $25 3 team ml parlay that is only 25% of your usual $100 straight bet worthwhile. Yes, picking 3 ml dogs is tough but between college football and pro BB, or college BB, there are many opportunities and for a quarter unit, what the hell! No guts, no glory!

    The sports betting apps always try to get you to place parlays by offering 50%, 100%, 30% profit boosts on any game or a specific game.
