A former employee for one of the biggest betting companies reveals the major flaws in the industry, from gambling addictions to money laundering. With over ten years of experience in betting, he has seen just how much the algorithms and systems are designed to encourage losers to lose more, and winners to stop winning. He describes how management has little care for customers, particularly when it comes to losing it all.
Informer is a series where we hear the anonymized confessions and insights of people on the inside of different industries, institutions and events.

The gambling industry caters to the lifestyle and the entertainment factor. It provides employment for a varying number of parallel industries, like food, concerts etc.
It has a Robin hood system of bringing in money to the open financial system, to the masses, all the folks employed by this industry. It allows the rich to enjoy leisure and the thrills their own money brings… Its a lifestyle choice.
This video although I can sympathize with it's points, it however belongs to the morality of a dark medieval era from history. True points perhaps, but something to improve on and not break a leg and fret.
The industry can bring about safety nets, help problem gamblers, but everything else it does, counter intuitively is a boon to the economy and in general normal folks and countries.
Seeing only the bane will cancel everything in this dark world. No lights, no kuching, no show, only boorish penury.
I got an email banning me from promotional funds from Bovada lmaooooooooooooo
When you grow up poor and without any $, the illusion of Hitting it big is always so enticing. Sadly some of us get overtaken and don't know when to stop. I once won 1000 bucks in a bar playing slots, bar closed at 2am, but the casino was open til 4am. In my head I said you'll double it up. Fast fwd an hour later, I had lost it all. The machines literally have you in a trance. I used to think it was so stupid to 🎰 but now that I tasted some wins, you always think in your head you're gonna hit it. Sadly 9 out of 10 times you don't. Slippery slope. It's better if you don't ever start.
Running a gambling company in itself isn't immoral, if people are stupid enough to get themselves addicted, that's on them. They need to look in the mirror. HOWEVER, what IS immoral is immediately gubbing any customers who start to win consistently, that's absolutely scandelous. What they're essentially saying is; 'you can gamble with us, but only if you lose'. Shocking.
I don't even know what venue he's talking about. It sounds like he's discussing online gambling, not casino gambling. Sounds mostly like boilerplate online conspiracy theory. All house games should be viewed as pure entertainment (losers) because they are, with the exception of poker, and poker is very difficult to be a long-term winner at.
I was a problem customer with a big company…i was winning for few weeks on inplay all the time until they placed a delay on my bets!!!
And that was it…

Gambling is forbidden in Islam, i thank Allaah that Islam is the only true religion.
Hard hitting news, money rules.
"We only want losing players". 💯% accurate!
Anyone who gambles is a fool unless they are completely ok with loosing all there money. It’s no secret that gambling is fucking foolish
How do you win at a game where the odds are stacked against you? You cheat better than you are cheated against. If you can't see the angles, you don't play.
Just look at Phil Ivey, you think this man made his fortune off skill and luck? No. He cheats better then he being cheated against, and he did it all his life professionally.
I dont gamble but I dont agree with this guy, who is deliberately forcing people to gamble? Its their own desire to get rich, not the casino.
Sin city familyyyy
Right … this guy wants to say that he went to work for a gambling company, but only AFTER that he realized who he works for and what kinda people these guys are. right … also speaking in terms like "they would crank up the dial" ??? what does that even mean? sure, what he says it's true , but this guy is a clown.
Who would have thought …
Its not the gambling industry that launders money, mone exchanges, restaurants, wholesalersm you name it.
lmfao sounds like the stock market
