He finished second to the #1 player on this list. It doesn't mean he is bad at all. He's actually considered elite by many. Every once in a while, a college is totally stacked at a certain position, often for a long time. UF used to be that way with running backs in the early 80s (Neal Andersen, John L. Williams, Lorenzo Hampton and James Jones – all future NFL players on the same team). Oh yeah, then a guy named Emmitt came along in the late 80s.

“Light years ahead of the talent last year” buddy what we did last year was amazing. We had a staff member at qb for most of the year 🤣. Last year was a totally different South Carolina and I’ve been waiting on this forever. I love Beamer. I love the enthusiasm he has for the program and what he’s doing for the players. Last year was the start of something great at USC
The narrative around Spencer is ridiculous. People love to hate. They assume SC fans are expecting a double digit win season and a heisman run. They're not. Stephen Garcia is a legend and had almost as many INTs as touchdowns. This is a school who's never had a 5 star QB, hasn't had a QB drafted in over 45 years. They're due for good QB play. They're due for good offensive line play. Nkt saying it will happen, but stop hating on fans for having optimism. The positivity around that program is real because win or lose this season they're still trending up.
Once rattler is tagged by some SEC defenders he will stagger through the season.
Praying the kid has a great comeback and growth as a man.
