The NFL Draft is in many ways a crapshoot… No matter how much money gets poured into analytics, scouting, and all the various ways that teams evaluate talent—the reality is that there’s an infinite number of variables that come into play.
And thus, even in the most hyped-up draft classes, there are quite a few surprises that reveal themselves once the players actually start competing at the NFL level.
The 2014 NFL Draft is a great example of this.

If you ask me, Jason Verret would've been a multiple time Pro Bowler, All-Pro and a top 25 CB in the league if it wasn't for injuries.
Mike Evans, Khalil Mack, Zach Martin and Aaron Donald are future HOFers. HaHa CD, Odell Beckham and Dee Ford in the Hall of very good. Everyone else is below them, but this was a fun draft, no doubt.
