Lmao having Ohio state winning the title as 16% and Michigan only at 11% is a joke man

Tennessee is ranked number 7 in the bowl championship how do you rank Clemson ahead of them you must be high.

In my opinion it’s a six horse race
UGA and Michigan are in no matter what TCU is win and in but still has a shot if they lose USC is win and in lose and out OSU is in if USC loses maybe if TCU loses bad Bama is in USC loses and TCU gets mollywomped by K-state

TCU should fall in the "clinched" category in my opinion.

Clemson has 2 losses…they out. Bama has 2 losses, UM gets in. Georgia gets in . TCU will get in if they win out. Could get interesting if TCU losses their championship

As Ohio State fans for many years they could just sit there for all I care don't embarrass yourself anymore playing some third grade bowl for now it is what it is

  7. Clayton Charles

KSU has 3 losses, what the hell is wrong with you

This is not what did you do for me last year. This is what have you done for me lately.

The committee and everyone else are hoping and praying that Georgia wins the SEC Championship. They should beat LSU if they don't, and you reward them a playoff spot for losing than give everybody a trophy. There is no need to compete.

If Georgia losses in the SEC championship game and are still in the playoff the system will have no credibility. Go back to the old system.

  11. Tony Sims

Some people are thinking that the committee is favoring Georgia no matter what.

How do you give K State a spot if they beat TCU and not give LSU a spot in the playoff if they beat Georgia. Both K state and LSU would have 10-3 records. The SEC is the toughest division. So strength of schedule should go to LSU.

  13. Tony Sims

If LSU beats Georgia how do you automatically give georgia a spot in the playoffs. This would be favoring georgia even if they loss.

I think it is COMPLETELY ridiculous to punish TCU for playing an extra game. I think UGA, MICH and TCU should all be locks for the playoff, having finished 12-0 in the regular season, better than any team in the rankings 5 or higher. If there was no championship weekend, all 3 would be locks for the playoff and there would be debate between USC, OSU and possibly Bama for that 4th spot, but I only see USC and OSU as viable options in that debate anyway. No team that is idle this week should be able to swap with a power 5 team that is 12-0 and plays an extra game this weekend.

That's one hell of an ORANGE Bowl.

  16. S Alcini

Washington looks better than Utah and has a better record.

  17. White Panther

Um, K state doesn’t make it, even if they beat TCU 80-0

  18. slibertas1996

It’s uSC that’s gonna lose not TCU

  19. Eye of Apophis

TCU Michgan UCF alll win there conf. Champ
LSU blows geogria out probley have to win by 50 witch is probley not gking to happen and with 3 loses they don't get in and Ohio state smeaks into 4th spot

Way too many worthless bowl games. Games that no one attends and games no one cares about. Back when a season entailed 9, 10, or even 11 games 6 wins to qualify was about right. But now that nearly every team plays at least 11 or 12 regular season games 6 wins is not enough. 6-6 means you had a mediocre team. Mediocre shouldn’t earn praise or a reward of a bowl game. My alma mater is 5-7 this year. They were bad. Lost several games should have won and barely beat some really bad teams. But even if they had fell into a 6-6 record they didn’t deserve a bowl game. Playing in the low hanging bowl games is embarrassing. Its like grabbing the low hanging rotten fruit. Yuck. I prefer a schedule of much fewer bowl games and make them matter. Stop the this bowl gets the 5th seed in this conference and the 6th seed from this one. That makes for some really boring games that no one cares about. Cut the number of bowls from 43 (really 43????) to 16 top 32 schools not to make the playoff. Then take the conference champion from the power 5 along with 3 wildcards and have a 8 team playoff for the national title. 24 bowl games total. There ya go.
