Even my 7 years old daughter knows it's offside. Except you have to tell us that 'interfere with play ' or 'impact play' has another interpretation.

Give Rashford some credit. It was very clever play to feint to shoot but then leave it for Fernandes.
The only time an offside player isn't interfering with play is when he isn't obstructing sight lines, is standing still or running back onside.

There's one core thing we are ignoring in this analysis… That is the speed of the ball. If Rashford is running with the speed of the ball and the defender couldn't catch up with him then if Rashford was not there would the defender have been able to reach the ball before Bruno??? Take that into consideration.
Kanji should play to the whistle and GK should play to the whistle.
Come on move on mate. The decision will not overturn the result. You can debate how many times but still can't do anything about it. Now focus to next game and hoping that this kind of thing will never happen again.

That freeze frame without rashford doesnt account for the speed of the ball. Its closer to akanji but its always moving away from him towards bruno with a decent amount of pace.
The picture without rashford is such a crap point. If I took a picture of a bullet passing your hand does that mean you could've caught it? The ball is moving away from the defender and towards where Fernandez is running. How is a still image going to show movement? The ball was slightly to fast for the defender.
They need one rule for this not 5 different ones!!!!! I thought it was offside.

He would not have gotten there coz the ball moving faster than Kanji towards bruno
Rashford's presence deceived the opponents and even Fernandes for a moment.
Akanji sees Rashford in front and most likely thought "he's offside anyway".
Then Rashford's movements made it look like he is about to shoot, fooling the keeper.
Even movements from Walker and Fernandes as they approached the edge of the penalty area make it look as if they thought Rashford will shoot.
casimeiro doesn't attempt that pass unless it's for rashford.offside right there cos both teams know that was the intent and react accordingly.
City deserved to lose simple as that. 1 shot on target.
