Jones seems more motivated than his last few and has already proved b4 that ring rust doesn’t affect him. I think he takes Gane down and brutalises him
gane has been in there with some of the nastiest punchers weve ever seen, the black beast, tai, and francis and he has avoided a lot of damage. he got his chin tested with tai and proved he could take some damage and trade. jon wont be winning on the standing trades combo wise. he might get shots off and counter strikes but he wont be winning combos. i think he will get pieced up if he trys that because cyril is the biggest puncher hes faced and has a tested uncracked chin + hands while jon doesnt have that same raw power. jon is going to get in close and work in the clench or this goes to the ground 100%. i dont see it playing out any other way. jon is going in there to win and he knows that getting him against the cage or on the ground is the easiest, fastest, safest, most violent and best way to do that. and thats exactly what will happen. they will bang, start wrestling and it will end with a brutal giftwrap or crucifix style pounding tko.
Watching tape on Gane definitely has a few tendencies. Like when he goes to throw his power right he switches stance to throw it. With no follow-up like every time. He uses his leave hand for a jab until he wants to throw a power right. If you watch every one of his fights he does that and everyone. I think that is something Jones can definitely react to. Far as a really good time for a single leg.Gane also has three or four things he does every single time no matter what in every fight and I think since John study so much film he's noticed it is well sure of it. Similar to with when you fought Islam I noticed three consistencies that left him wide open every time. Which was one of my favorite fights I've watched it four times. Good luck to both men in the cage though hopefully whoever wins they both leave safe and in good health.
