Excellent, Thank you for this. This method predicts the distance perpendicular to the root where the foot will land, but not actually where the foot will land. I'm guessing I would need to grab the foot bone offset from the animation somehow. I'll have a think

Great video! I have a question. Is it possible to get the value of not the ordinate, but the abscissa of the animation curve? I mean the value on the horizontal x-axis. That is, the animation frame.
