In Nigeria, this betting stuff has killed a lot of young men, boys as young as 15 years are gambling with their school fees, and food money some even get into debt because of and when they can't pay it back they end up quitting it all

Finally, someone has said it I thought I was the only one when I tell people I’m not into sports. They look at me like I’m crazy and a conversation goes dead. These people are like fucking robots and they think caring about sports is some type of accomplishment to be obsessed with people that don’t even even know that you exist.

As someone who is in a community of people who make money on sports betting consistently through research, discipline, and bankroll management… I completely agree. This stuff is extremely predatory and sick. Personally i only do it because I’ve found people who make it profitable and on top of that i find joy in playing as robin hood and getting money back from such a predatory industry but for everyone else? Get out asap

I dislike gambling. I cant write a moral thesis on why but it feels dirty. like its the most western thing you can do.
