Close but Partey for me. His passing, composure, and athleticism. Casemiro relatively lacks a bit of pace and composure and his passing ain’t great.Rodri lacks the pace too but great passer and great composure. All of them read the game very well. But Partey is slightly ahead.

I call Casemiro the antivirus. He's like Norton 360.
Absolutely World Class! He's shown he's so competent as a midfielder and one of the best in the world. Let me break it down:
1. His positioning is top notch. He knows exactly where to be in the middle of the park and never gets dragged too much to one side but he understands and reads the game well enough to know if he goes one side, he forces play there either by winning the ball or slowing the game enough so that the players that have gone forward can get into position.
2. His anticipation is top notch! He just anticipates danger. That's why he makes interceptions and stops which are crucial. He sort of identifies what the opponent might do and he snuffs it out quickly.
3. He covers for the team whenever something goes wrong. Hence antivirus. Look no further than DDGs back pass went wrong versus Barcelona, he realised that this was an issue and to get back and make that double block to avoid going 2 nil down. This is why he's the antivirus. Amazing.
4. His first pass is forward. Manchester United means pass forward. Sir Alex said this. Roy Keane said this. Rio said this. The first pass has to be forwards. Casemiro is always looking to play forward and start attacks. The stat you gave proves it. We haven't had players to make passes that break lines for God knows how long. Fred wasn't it. McTominay wasn't it. VDB hasn't had it. None of these lot. He's amazing.
5. Goals and assists. Midfielders chip in with crucial goals and Casemiro has shown it. Like you said, he goes under the radar esp when he was at RM but people forget he scored in the 2017 UCL final to give that team a 2-1 lead Vs Juve and his 2 goals and MOTM display in the UEFA Super Cup Vs Eintreicht Frankfurt in 2022.
6. Lastly and most importantly his mentality. He's an absolute winner. You can see it on the pitch that he doesn't like to lose and takes matters into his own hands and everyone in that team sees that and just goes up a level cause he just oozes class. Casemiro is just an absolute mentality monster which is something we were missing at United.
