My picks:
Raiders < Bengals
Explanation: Many will agree with me when I say the Bengals are the better team vs. the Raiders. Joe Burrow and Jamarr Chase form the best QB-WR duo I think I've ever seen. Joe Mixon is a great back who can run in between defenders. Also, Tee Higgens is a nice compliment to Chase. Now, the Raiders have Josh Jacobs as their great back. They have Hunter Renfrow at WR with Darren Waller at TE. With both teams having skillful weapons, I believe this game will come down to the passers. In my eyes, Joe Burrow is simply a better quarterback than Derek Carr. At the end of the day, give me Burrow's Bengals over Carr's Raiders. As of 6:39 PM 1/15/22, the Bengals lead 26-19.
Update: As of 9:22 PM 1/15/22, the Bengals are going to the divisional round after a 26-19 win over the Raiders.
Patriots < Bills
Explanation: Last time these teams played, the Bills came out on top. But last time these teams played in Orchard Park, the Pats triumphed. I don't believe that last point is gonna mean anything in this game. Give me the Bills over the Patriots.
Update: The Bills won 47-17.
Eagles < Buccaneers
Explanation: The last time these teams met, the Bucs won what happened to be Zach Ertz's last game as an Eagle. What could be a huge difference in this rematch is no Antonio Brown, who was released by Tampa after week 17. But I don't think that's gonna be enough to take the victory away from the Buccaneers.
Update: The Bucs won 31-15.
49ers > Cowboys
Explanation: Many will say the Cowboys are a better team than the 9ers, but I just don't think they'll pull out the win Sunday afternoon. The 9ers are fresh off of a comeback win at the Rams. Also, how I've seen the Cowboys play against certain teams, I don't see how they're gonna have what it takes to secure a W over the 49ers this weekend.
Update: The 49ers won 23-17.
Steelers < Chiefs
Explanation: The Chiefs absolutely steamrolled the Steelers in week 16 and I believe they beat them again Sunday night. But the Steelers should be more ready for KC so the Chiefs need to keep their guard up.
Update: The Chiefs won 42-21.
Cardinals < Rams
Explanation: In a time where many have the Cardinals getting the win, I don't like how the regular season ended for them and I believe the Rams get the W in LA.
Update: The Rams won 34-11.
