Mad Dog is learning. He use to be a stat monkey but is learning. Its good to watch. Shannon is a stat monkey, he thinks the math holds the secrets to predictions. There are many variables that determines an outcome, some are measurable and some are not. Poor analysts they all get it wrong.

I don't gamble, but this game was way to easy to predict, at 4 points, Rams win by 3 on a last minute score. The under and OBJ TD was also simple to see. I didn't even bother watching the game. I don't want to believe the games are more about narratives than coaching and skill, but I don't. Personally I thought the Rams were way bigger point favorites even though I'm not a fan of super teams. I pretty much knew that wouldn't happen, the NFL wants close contests as do many fans, but last minute wins, overtime wins isn't reality as often as it seems to be the case lately. I predict the NFL win morph into a virtual reality entertainment, where players show up and shoot certain plays for live review clips and the majority of the action is virtual reality and will pass this off as new NFL. I believe the technology already exists ( software) and just a matter this generation moving into the age appropriate demographic
