The fact Knicks can’t get a top 3 pick in 20 years as a struggling team trying to get better is a joke! This is why the lottery doesn’t work. When the Bulls got Rose at #1 was the day the draft became a joke!! Bulls were already playoff ready. This is why the NFL is the best! Teams tank for a reason…it’s just like chess. If they can’t compete they are looking for a player to build around and move forward. As long as there is a lottery there will be a scramble between all the bad team and you need to get “lucky” in order to move forward as a franchise? It’s a joke. Atleast the NFL that player comes once a while to save the franchise based on how bad the team is. I’m bias and as a fan as terrible NY teams like the Knicks, Jets, and Mets the best thing happening is the Jets right now. They will be the worst team and get the first pick and it will be the reason the franchise will take a step forward! The Jets aren’t winning a super bowl anytime soon granted, but atleast they will be reassured for how bad the team actually is. Get the first pick on record not because they are tanking but bc they have been that bad for almost a decade now. NBA only secures the good teams and takes care of them and promotes them for money. Not sure why they decided to one day destroy the Knicks when they are one of the highest money makers in the country.
