I have mental health issues I struggle with every day. Jay must do more research on mental health issues or articulate his words correctly or better. I believe Ben Simmons but he need to be open about his issues because that’s the only way you can find someway to get throughout the day.
Ben is actually going through it. Not everything is about basketball. Dude’s half brother was accused by their sister of some messed up stuff and ruined their relationship. Ben and him were really tight he was always with him and Ben just bought him a car then that happened. So I don’t think it’s just a basketball situation. But it is also basketball and how the fans treated him. He’s a person too. Sixers fans said GTFO then got mad when he didn’t play 😂
Because of the economic crisis that always comes up the best thing to be on every wise individual’s mind or list is to invest in different streams of income that’s not depending on the government to generate funds.

He didn't want to play for Philadelphia, he went to Brooklyn got what he wanted and is happy. End of story. Yes he was probably lying but that's what he had to do politically to get out of there. Ben is only responsible to himself and his situation not the media. We've all told white lies or called in sick for work for one reason or another.

If they’re that miserable just quit forego your money and focus on getting better. You’re not doing anyone any good if you aren’t available.

No one will ever know the truth and both sides have valid points. You don't want to discredit Simmons because we should take mental health seriously and don't really know what he's going through. That being said, the timing of everything makes Simmons look bad and mental health is an easy out now. I'm a teacher and I have a student with mental health issues who uses it as an excuse not to come to school ever because he manipulates his parents. In this case, my gut tells me Simmons felt disrespected by the sixers and he is exaggerating mental health to get his money and being traded. If the sixers invested so much in him, I'm sure they would do everything to make it work from a financial standpoint. Who 100% knows though?
Can't listen to this ranting, He is a 25 year old trying to play basketball. His coach and team mate throw him under a bus for the biggest loss of the year……. NO ONE is going to be mentally coping with that, Along with the nonstop media dissection of you.
