6 houses multiple golf courses many car dealerships his own plane worth around billion dolllars. Billy had a a lot of adversity a daughter who committed suicide and a severely disabled son oh man heart goes out to you you showed us that we can make things happen. Sending the ❤️ .

His story really isn't interesting. He lost so much money. You get lost on when he hit his fortune. It only gets interesting when he starts betting large. Other than that, his story is boring, and the common betting man story.

If you buy the book thinking he will reveal his “secrets” you are delusional. The sports betting industry would never allow the release of the book as sports betting would no longer be around. It’s common sense. Thousands of people applying what he did? And even if he does reveal his “secrets” the books will make adjustments to the knowledge making everything he gives useless

sumthngs i didnt agree with billys story
of how much he burned through splittin winnings with team he had & alot of lines were $1.89
he done alooot of singles bets & heavily relied on line or he used $1000+ to get bookie to move line up i thnk is called hedging
i thnk can lose u even more money in long run
but his team wit money is problem

im stil new to it but knw im a ok sports gambler of da future im 4yrs in to it on & off
i jus need a job to save for bank roll

but to much went to his team & to many singles lines $1.90 isnt worth it if u lose often
he burned alot of money made me curious bout his job b4 he gambled?
he spent $20,000-$80,000 on a single game

anyways in near future im start bettin $2500-$5000 & bet on odds $3-$10
dats realistic if i had a job for at least 1-2yrs id hav bigger bets

    anyways nba 1 bet i did $10 = $345 2/3 parlay trey young hit 3pointer wit 1second 117-119

    1. celtics to win 1-10 margin wrong 117-119 trey hit 3pointer in last 2seconds to win it
    2. denver to win 1-10 margin right 112-109 wolves
    3. suns to win 1-10 margin right 136-130 clippers

anyways $5000 bet in future on a $10odds in sum sport =$50,000 returns frm smaller amounts

rather den wat billy did where he'd spend $20,000-$50,000+ on $1.90 odds
long run doesnt mak u profit
small parlays do lik my nba

id do 2 games like dat in future
    $7odds x $20,000 = $140,000 return

i feel my example is for middle class guys we dont earn same income but can match it in future if i get on roll

Today in NHL I won 13 out of 15 games, Pittsburgh & Anaheim ducks messed up my entire parlay, now I should be mad but I'm not, because I was only 2 games & 1 goal away from winning the entire parlay& break a record, goodnight!

  9. Jamarell Martin

Since Billy Walters is my sports betting idol, & I want to impress him I betted on 15 NHL games today, so wish me some luck, thank you-guys!😊

  10. Jamarell Martin

Billy Walters is my sports betting idol, because my average is 66%….but betting parlays only, I remember this one Saturday I won 24 out of 25 games, Vancouver messed my entire parlay up, Toronto won

Here is a true short story to entertain you about my betting journey. It's not such an exceptional story as Billy Walters, but in many ways similar. A horse betting man named Bill Benter is one of my hero's, but this man, Billy Waters, whom I do not remembering hearing about before has made quite an impression on me in this video. Maybe I'll refer to them as the two Bill's in the future, easy to remember. Anyway, listening to this man is like hearing a much better version of my betting myself. I've been a successful sports better (mostly horse racing) in the UK for 30 years and have seen the sports betting rules and technology in the UK change drastically. It was obvious to me some years ago that automation and machine learning were the future of sports betting, but how to do it? The problem is although I have a deep understanding of how to beat the odds and even simple coding, I can't code to the degree that my ideas require. All the commercial "off the shelf" software or bots I've seen or tried are not adequate. Still, I used to mention to any programmer I did meet about sports betting in the hope I would find someone as a partner rather than just hiring someone.

Then about three years ago I met a very smart young programmer who was interested in my ideas. We didn't do anything serious with betting for a long time, but slowly we became good friends and are now business partners. We're currently in the process of developing automated bot software with our first working model for football (soccer) going live with real money last month when it made a profit! Unfortunately there were some runtime bugs so we halted live testing for a few weeks to first complete another piece of software for back-testing. With this back-testing software can run various scenarios in a simulated "real time" environment using pre-recorded data from a live exchange stream.

The potential of these two pieces of software (back-testing and automated bot) for football/soccer is huge. I'm really looking forward after this first bot to the next stage of our plans, testing my spreadsheet horseracing formulas with a deep-learning neural net algo to see if it can do better than me. I highly suspect it will be much better. As an example of horse betting, my best returns last year were… a race where I bet only one horse in the race and it came in at 334/1, just missing by a photo-finish nostril hair a 600/1, winning 101/1, 91/1 and multiple wins between 30/1 – 60/1. In general, anything less than 20/1 is a boring, daily, par-for-the-course win. I can hear the haters calling me a liar now, lol, whatever, I don't care.

I do realise people reading this might think I'm telling porky pies (lies) or just want to brag, maybe selling something. However, you can see I'm not saying who I am, there is no personal contact details or suggestions to go visit some website or other such crap. None of the software I've mentioned above is being developed for sale, this is strictly for our own use. My reason for this long comment is one of sharing and appreciation because I can tell when someone knows what they are talking about in a sea of wanna-be's, bullshitters and tipsters. It's clear to me that Billy Walters knows what he's talking about and I respect that. Will I buy the book? No, but I would accept a friendly gift of a signed copy after having met the man informally for a chat. Won't be holding my breath on that one, lol. Regardless, I'm sure he would be impressed with what what we do and our results, maybe one day.

I'll leave this now with some general betting advice… Most people will lose long term, simple as that. Don't bet other than for entertainment once in a while and only with money that you are 100% comfortable losing. I lost so much money before learning how to make sports betting profitable using my own methods, not other people's systems. I don't go to casino's or buy lottery tickets. If you approach betting as a "get rich quick" scheme then the only thing that will be quick is how quickly you will be poor. Keep emotions out of betting as much as possible, automation helps with that if you can do it. I don't believe many have the will power, stamina and smarts to be a pro-punter (betting person), but I wish you well if you think you can consistently beat the odds as you will be in a tiny minority.

Billy walters amazing man and thanks for work on book…ill buy it sir.

  15. Justin justin

Why doesnt he talk about online sports betting like fandeul and draftkings things like that and sports betting is easier niw cuz you got internet research and go thru an app then a casino its just a matter of if what you bet on wins or loses but the stats check is always there to look at i always say stay disciplined and bet responsible only bet what you can afford to lose you gonna take lots of losses to learn from before you start getting good wins the money will come just gotta keep learning

  16. Tom Dockery

Harness racing is a much better bet than is betting sports because the odds are made by the players.

  17. TGoat123

There are two ways to beat sports: 1. Beat the closing line. 2. Bet into an incorrect line. Billy was the best at both.

  18. Tim Stort

Billy looks great for his age, what a MAN. He did it his way and made life what he wanted it to be. Also this is a great interview, very well done!

So brutal. I am in recovery with drugs, alcohol, sex addiction. I have all of the makings to be addicted to anything. Got close with gambling. Rolling the dice at the craps table. High octane stuff. Huge rush. I’ve wondered how it is that I backed off from the table without getting sucked in. I don’t know that I have the answer. All I know is this. I hate the feeling of losing more than I like the feeling of winning and I guess that I got lucky with losing way more than won.

    This brought me to tears,Man.

Luckily I don't have enough money to gamble & I don't feel like I could never win over 10X, so it's kind of a fun hobby to me but I have to admit i'm kind of addicted.

Gambling has ruined me a lot . I have lost all my life savings, it’s made me feeling better I’ll. I can’t seem to win on anything. I have put lots of money in bandits. On a one horse, unfortunately them horses never came in . Especially odds on favourites. It has caused me sleepless night aniexty depression.

When I was 18 I managed to turn 2$ into 20k and I lost it all over a span of a few weeks. I became addicted tryna chase that win and I've lost probbaly 50k in total. My advice is to get help before it becomes a promblme

You know, when I say all these folks losing so much of their hardwork money to gambling, I'm glad that casinos have at least the decency to offer unlimited free diet coke and water.
