SF Giants Select Will Bednar from Mississippi State with the 14th Pick of the 2021 MLB Draft

I make my videos on the HP Spectre x360. I use Adobe Premiere Rush to edit, which allows me to commentate and efficiently splice up clips in a high quality way.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.

I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

    Can you imagine being a pitcher drafted by a team that just recently won 3 WS titles, pitcher friendly yard, and still has the greatest catcher in the game?? That's a pitcher's dream come true right there. Welcome to the Gigantes Mr. Bednar!!

    I know they need pitching, but with what they passed up, this is a terrible pick UNLESS they sign him for way under slot and go sign highly touted, high upside guys in rounds 2 and 3. Because passing on Sal Frelick, Ty Madden, Matt McLain, and even prep prospect Khalil Watson for Bednar is clearly not a “draft the best guy available” strategy.

    Tigers fan here: Good pick! Very Giants-esque. That being said, I think Bednar has a high floor and low ceiling, so he may not get a whole lot better. But overall, very safe choice!
