The fact that a football player that has a career ending and life altering injury from playing in the NFL staggers out on stage to celebrate the drafting of a young player who could one day end up being disabled too is lost on everyone. With the great enabler Goodell praising it all as well is downright sickening. Just flat out isn't worth the risk yet here is a permanently disabled man because of football celebrating the next guy who is going to risk the same or worse solely for money and glory. Makes no sense. Fools tackling with their head is never going to stop.
This man is a legend. Everyone in the comments section saying which team they are a fan of as if it delivers some modicum of relevance needs to check themselves. Not one human being cares who you are a fan of.
My young son also has alopecia and even though we’re Wolverine fans we love Shazier and he has been an inspiration to us.
