* steph have a finals mvp now
Now he got his FMVP
ngl i feel like curry wont be like this if curry got drafted by clippers cus he is a first he's like oh ye im gonna chill not like when he was 7th pick like he really worked hard
Aint no way bozo got demar that low
Watching this, NOW with how DeRozan is playing now, brings a smile to my face that people were really hating on DeRozan this hard.
This funny, Demar is better than Griffin and there's literally no argument. Let alone Holiday.
You focus too much on the present type of basketball. I presume you draft for the type of basketball being played in the years from 2009-2020. You cannot draft Holiday ahead of DeRozan considering this. Tyreke Evans is a strong case for the 5th or 6th spot as well on the list. These players might not be best players suited for the 2020 type of basketball, but in the previous years they were really good.
I started talking so much shit when he pick DeRozan lmfao but glad he smart was just joshing no disrespect but it’s Steph Fucking Curry
Darren Collison has had a better career than Rubio, let alone Beverly. SMH. And Derozan is definitely better than Holiday if we're talking about body of work and what they've accomplished so far in their careers. Demar was the best player on a team that went to the conference finals, while Jrue was going nowhere with a top 3 player in the league as teammate for 6 seasons. Defense is definitely important, but I swear these "basketball purists" believe that basketball is 70/30 defense/offense when it's arguably the other way around. There's a reason why the saying "give me great offense over great defense any day of the week" exists. You completely disregard guys like Tyreke Evans, Ty Lawson and Collison because "they don't play defense" over "defensive" guys like freakin Joe Ingles, Danny Green and Beverly while completely ignoring the deficiences in the games of the latter group. Like how these guys can't create their own shot, limited offenseively, heck even how Green possibly got the worst handles in the league for a guard. Oh Ingles, what a great defender. Well, that defense didn't do shit in the series against the Warriors. Beverly can't stop Curry from hitting 30. Yeah, defense is important, but definitely not more than offense. At the end of the day, basketball is all about the putting the ball in the hoop.
How u gonna take jrue over derozan?
1. Curry
2. Harden
3. Griffin
4. DeRozan (I like more Holiday but DeRozan is better)
5. Holiday
6. Rubio (way better player than Teague, I don't understand putting Teague over Rubio)
7. Tyreke Evans ( had a couple very bad seasons and is no longer what he was expected to be, but still a career 15-5-5, not bad)
8. Danny Green (he is unvaluable, fits in every team)
9. Jeff Teague
10. Wesley Matthews (if not for injuries, he would be way higher)
11. Beverley
12. Taj Gibson
13. Patty Mills
14. Demarre Carroll
15. Darren Collison
Fuck yeah Jingles getting some respect!
I think Tyreke Evans could've been a better player had he gone to a better team.
The tyreke Evans disrespect 😩 i feel like if it weren’t for injuries and being on a better team he might’ve had a better career
Curry has everything that harden wants🙃
This is the problem when you inconsistently evaluate the players. Some were valued on their potential, some were judged currently while some were judged on the past.
I have been saying this for a while now and I'll say it again. Tucker, these kinds of themes are not really for you. I'd rather hear you talk about the technicalities of the league rather than evaluating players inconsistently on a consistent basis.
harden is the best player from this draft, leads curry is career win shares, vorp, box plus minus, more all star selections, more all-nba selections and mulitiple mvp top 3 finishes.. curry 3 championships is nice but zero fmvps( which means he wasnt the catalyst to their wins… )
Only looking at player values at this current point. Tyreke has been better than Beverly for the majority of their careers
Jingles is so overrated. Can you honestly say if he was not white anyone would think twice about him?
