Hakeem is #1, he did more with less based on the situation. Jordan without Pippin don’t win multiple titles and I’ll go as far as saying he doesn’t win 2 chips in his career. Hakeem got to the finals in year 3 and won 2 chips without any all star teammates.

Im not trying to be rude but you really dont know what you're talking about. I know its just a fun what if type video but your lack of knowledge is glaringly obvious. Skill wise Hakeem was just as good as Jordan. MJ had more success because MJ had much better teams than Hakeem. Hakeem and MJ were truly in thier own league.

  3. @lllllllllll11llllllllll

    Bruh Jordan wouldn’t go 1

  4. @MeMe-td1ye

Hakeem better pick – didn't need help like Pippen

  5. @TheKapei22

I would still draft Hakeem. Not the greatest of all time, but much safer choice than Jordan IMO

  6. @frozenshatterbreak69

Jordan would be the predecessor to Harden in Houston (still the toughest shoes to fill); The University of Houston Phi Slamma Jamma Duo would make title runs in… Portland?!; Barkley could have been a tougher Rodman OR should we say, Chicago Elton Brand before there was even Chicago Elton Brand in 2000; And its going to be Stockton-To-Aguirre in Dallas!!!!

  7. @jedimasterjoe5386

i whoud take Hakeem over mj any day

You have to at least think of how much Stockton's success based on the pick and role with Malone. Same with Malone. How good would he be without perhaps the most consistent point guard ever. Those two were made to be a one two punch and if it wasn't for Jordan. They probably win multiple championships.

    sam bowie

  10. @TreeforLife

What about Horace Grant? Grant plays a pretty big role before Jordan plays Baseball

It would of been nice if the Rockets would have traded Ralph Sampson for the Clyde and the # 2 pick like the rumor goes. Can you imagine Hakeem, Clyde, and Jordan on the same team.

  12. @happyrogue3485

Wait how did Portland draft both Clyde and hakeem

  13. @TheKidBuu5

Jordan wouldn't be the Jordan we see today if he wasnt on the bulls

  14. @cobypieros4960

Nice vid but what even was Charles Barkley lol

Anyone that watched Hakeem play in Houston would stick with Hakeem. The year before Hakeem, the Rockets were 29-53 and finished last in their conference. They won 19 more games in Hakeem's first year in the league and made the playoffs. Hakeem's second year the Rockets beat the defending champion Showtime Lakers in the West Conf. Finals 4 games to 1, and took the great '86 Celtics to 6 games in the finals.  This would not have happened with Jordan – the Rockets were a nightmare matchup in the front court with the size and strength of Hakeem and Sampson. Dominating the boards and interior defense, along with superior interior offense is what enabled the Rockets to dominate the defending champion Lakers.  Also, after Sampson was injured and traded and other key players lost to drug suspensions and the team fell apart, Hakeem absolutely carried the load for years until he finally got some decent help in the early 90's. Could Jordan have carried the load on both the offensive and defensive ends like Hakeem did with that team? No, not as a wing player, he never could have made the defensive impact that Hakeem was able to.  Would another star player even have stuck it out with the sorry team Hakeem got stuck with? That's doubtful.

The rockets could of had MJ and Hakeem cause the trailblazers wanted Ralph Sampson and a pick next year for their second overall but they said no

  17. @UnBR0k3enAngel

….I still don't think that the Rockets would have drafted a guard. Hakeem should've remained #1…..but maybe I'm saying this because I want Drexler×Jordan.

  18. @59Emma1

The Rockets were dead set on taking hakeem, no way they would have taken Jordan back then.

  19. @geeto99

Can 2k MyLeague players get on 2ks neck about not being able to edit historic players ages? crazy I can't have a rookie Wilt. when in 2k15 I can. Guarantee they bring it back in the next 2 years as a "new feature"

  20. @LennonRhys13

The Rockets were offered the #2 pick and Clyde Drexler for Ralph Sampson. The Rockets could have had Hakeem, Jordan, and Drexler.
