First, they heighlighted Washington state to legalize sports gambling….

This is not true. They allow casinos to do it 3 years ago but as of today only 3 are allowed.

There is no sports betting app allowed in half of the states they highlighted

    Bad journalism

Regulate the advertising similar to how tobacco and big fines to those who don't follow/find loopholes and allow minors to use their product

The very best and successful sports handicappers and sports bettors don't sell their picks they don't tout they bet for themselves most of the touts and people that sell picks via sports services went broke betting their own picks so they attempt to use the public's money this con job and nonsense has been going on for decades nothing new under the sun Noone is reinventing the wheel putting the Scamdicappers aside which is 90 pct of the sports service industry 10 pct are legit may be even less then that but I'm being kind

Sorry to say but our governments, state and national are not your friend. They pitched this disaster as a revenue generating ploy. The truth is, is to reclaim the money that’s given to individuals that are on social assistance and social security. That means the gambler in those circumstances on average will lose at least half of the income from the government. It also applies to all in general, makes you poor and indebted for ever.

You can keep sports gambling legal but add more restrictions that will keep you betting on sports, but not blow off all of your money in an instant.

For example, Since your bank account is connected to the app, the Hard Rock Bet app sees that you have only $5,000 in your account so the app will only let you withdraw $500 per month or 10% of what you have in your bank account. Once you lose the $500 that you withdrew from your banking account for the month, you can’t take out more money until the 1st of the next month. Your bank account is at $100,000 on May 1st, you can only withdraw $10,000 that month

The other option is force people to pay a $2,000 fee every month to withdraw as much as you want, this will put a burden on your bank account over the year for people who aren’t making a ton of money and don’t like paying for fees. I still would rather prefer the first option since you can see a millionaire blowing through all of his money quickly.
