Mullen's recruiting had an average rank of 10. He just didn't recruit needs. Florida has failed in recruiting because of the lack of perks (food, lodging, facilities, etc). Thankfully, Napier is improving the quality of life.
Florida wasn't never that bad we just got caught up like everyone else did all the way to the NFL draft picks in a QB that couldn't rise to the occasion win his name was called in consistent play" we have seen 20 years in the decline of the game"

The 2020 team didn't score less than 31 points that season, still lost 4 games!! That's how bad the defense was
Arkansas always has the big boys up front on offense to make things work and in recent years they’ve had the playmakers and QB play to really make it work . This year is no different they’ll win games but not elite
Sorry Will but we need to hit the OL hard. We haven’t had a decent OL in over a decade, and we’ve had top rated quarterbacks injured and transfer as a result. A good OL can make an average RB and QB look like Heisman contenders.

I loved the early Muschamp days because of the defensive dominance. These “coaches” are purposefully downplaying Florida and are probably Jeremey Pruitt, Butch Jones, and their equals
So Will doesn't want an offense that scored 38 points a game with a QB who averaged 10 yards per attempt with 30 plus td and only 7 ints?
If Florida has hope because of Stetson Bennett, what about the 3 higher recruited guys behind him on the depth chart. If his play is costing them games, wouldn’t one of the other guys probably get the nod?

I have taken a step back and looked at what Napier's doing. What you guys are talking about in the defensive play over the last few years has been Atrocious. Could you imagine what Florida would have done if the defense was in the top 25 like in previous years.. We finally got an offense and our defense Stunk up the field. Napier knows that he is going to be running the ball taking up time on the clock. So that means he has to have a defense that can give him back the ball More quickly.Anthony Richardson and this offense will score points.. Hopefully with all the Defensive recruiting on the line will help. And the secondary we have as well.We can man up on the receivers and put Pressure on the quarterback causing more turnovers. Giving us the ball back, and allowing us to go down and score again. A recipe for success.
I don’t know why you were surprised by Arkansas. They won 9 games last season and actually have a bright future and sit top 10 in recruiting.
