The K2 Pinnacle 88 makes a perfect ski for the strong intermediate to expert skier looking for the ability to carve on the frontside and dip into the trees or powder when the snow is right. An 88mm waist is quite nimble when you want to slice some medium to short radius turns, feels highly edgy in the bumps, and provides some floatation in light powder. K2’s Fir-Nanolite Core uses wood and low-density aerospace grade composites that run right through the middle of the ski for a very low swingweight. Metal Laminates deliver extra power and edge hold when you put the pedal to the metal or conditions get firm. Taper in the tip and tail improve your maneuverability when the snow gets deep. If you want a ski that makes you look like a hero in the bumps, carves on the frontside and has the ability to head off-trail, the Pinnacle 88 will be the ski for you.

We were wondering about a way to ski in to Pinnacle lodge at the end of our day. That was helpful…thanks for posting!
Yes, that skis not for speed, but you can do slalom or ride 20-30 cm of fresh powder as a god
