Omar Hernandez: 2018-19 Gatorade National Boys Soccer Player of the Year

Omar Hernandez can do it all.

He racked up 16 goals, 17 assists, and 1.38 PPG as he led the Dalton High School Catamounts (Georgia) to a mind-blowing 23-0 season, topping it off with a Class 6A state championship. The Catamounts finished the season ranked No. 1 on both the USA TODAY Super 25 list and the TopDrawerSoccer.com FAB 50. Hernandez is also the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Co-Player of the Year for 2018-2019 and finished his Dalton career with 78 goals and 64 assists, both school records.

Hernandez doesn’t just step up on the soccer field. He holds a demanding part-time job on nights and weekends, while also volunteering as a youth soccer coach. Even with these commitments, he maintained a weighted 3.30 GPA in the classroom. It’s no shock that Hernandez’s work ethic has paid off: he’ll be headed to Wake Forest University this fall.

Described by his teachers as “a natural leader with an outstanding work ethic,” it’s obvious Hernandez will carry the values of this award with him wherever he goes.

Thanks to his dedication to the game, his achievement in the classroom, and his commitment to serving his community, it’s no surprise that Omar Hernandez has been named the 2018-2019 Gatorade National Boys Soccer Player of the Year!

Jesus love you, he died on the cross for you, accept him as your lord and savior he can change everything. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life" (Jn 3:16"

But you must repent too. From that time Jesus went about preaching and saying, Let your hearts be turned from sin, for the kingdom of heaven is near. (Matthew 4:17)…

I swear that is way slower and smoother than FIFA. Lol still FIFA has the win on licensing. If EA and KONAMI work on 1 soccer game they WOULD MAKE "ULTIMATE FIFA" or "ULTIMATE PRO SOCCER" I swear it will be better than this.
