I am a fan of Geno, but after seeing how easily Va Tech dismantled Ohio St's press, I have to think a good deal of the blame of UConn's failure in this game, is coaching. Their strategy to break the press was a failure. I don't believe Va Tech's talent is that much ahead of UConn's that it would explain the difference in effectiveness in breaking the press.
The good news for Uconn fans is they would have lost by 22 points to Virginia Tech. And they don't have to play South Carolina again, thats always embarrassing

Was Paige injured??? She was there for the first few minutes and all of sudden, she's out. It seems like Fudd plays well when she's the 3rd option, but man, does she struggle when the lights are the brightest. Hope next year will be better.
UConn did not value the basketball. And the officiating was horrendous.
I think it was Geno and his attitude that caused the morale with the team ever since he's been back..at the expense of going to national title game..

cudos to Ohio, they steamrolled Uconn….as much as i like Uconn it has been lacking 3p accuracy, dynamics and fluidity in this game, even though the stats look pretty even.
