The fact that it was just a jump 😢

  2. @porfiriato84

Damn. This whole time I assumed he injured the knee when he landed. But to know he got it while jumping is crazy to me!

  3. @benjaminbabus6466

  4. @DysfuntionalHabit

Can you please do a video on a skateboarder? I would love to see your medical insight on a sport that is so harsh on the body.

  12. @Wilmer7

POV: you looked this up after watching an old lady asking if he was a basketball player hu?

  13. @rowanp8969

Could the conditioner at the start also be called perthes

  14. @perc_nowitzki4735

Never heard about the insert in his shoe to even him out. Did they get that cleared with the commission for his special condition cause seems like you shouldn't be able to just add some height in your shoes

  15. @Julia-xz7vb

horizontal patella fracture.. hideous injury. Great video, nice to hear a doctor talking about movement dysfunctions. too many just think it's all nuts and bolts.

  16. @jimmygaming6481

I have to have a hip surgery and it might be perthes disease😢

When you increase muscle mass with the help of steroids, there is a disproportion between muscle strength and the skeleton that cannot support such strength, then injuries occur and this is a problem with NBA basketball players and in general with all athletes from the USA. For that reason American cattle do not allow the International Olympic Committee to controls American Olympians for doping.

  18. @jakew1362

that 08-09 was so much fun man. Steve Blake, B Roy, Nic Batum, Aldridge, Oden. Then we had Rudy Fernandez and Sergio Rodriguez off the bench, two all time great players from Spain who had a special connection on the floor. Pryzbilla the Vanilla Gorilla. Channing Frye and Travis Outlaw. That was a squad

  19. @rashadsmith4727

Damn!…they had a squad with Lamarcus Aldridge, Greg Oden, and Roy. That was to be the new twin towers after Duncan and Robinson had been balling PLUS B Roy!?!!! That team would have definitely won a ring or 2 had they all stayed healthy. Wish Roy would have talked a little about how management messed Oden up trying to bulk him up like Shaq. 🤦‍♂️ 😢 But great great interview! I just liked how Roy appreciated Mike for bringing him up! You can tell Mike knows his history!

  20. @travisprice57

greg oden was so fast and explosive … he was more athletic then shaq just shaq had raw strength but oden was one of a kind

  21. @daproyaknow7056

Greg Oden is Sam Bowie on steroids!!!!😂😂😂😂

  22. @choirenthusiast4545

People don’t realize how good that Portland could’ve been. Roy, LMA, Oden then you have Blake, Batum, Fernandez. All very solid

  23. @iLoveLucy420

Imagine LA,B Roy,Greg Oden and Logo Lillard on the same team…I wonder how that would have went.

  24. @erickiyoshiphillips2323

Portland drafted him knowing he had bad knees i hope he wouldve worked out

  25. @cubski

There was a season when Oden was able to play a good amount of games and I remember thinking to myself, "he's definitely a #1 pick talent". I don't consider him a bust because when he was able to play you can clearly see he's at least going to be a piece in a great team. Too bad about his injuries.

  26. @leftovers2go198

Check the Blazers record when all 3 are playing: Greg, LaMarcus and BRoy

  27. @X-NiNjAGhoStx

I remember meeting Oden at a mos def concert he was walking up the stairs dude was huge i still haven't forgotten that moment i wish i could meet Oden again

  28. @muddywaters2818

All these young guys have no idea how good Greg was. I remember when he played Florida in the championship. All star Al Horford, all star Jokim Noah, top 15 pick Maurice Speights, and SEC 6th man 2nd round C Chris Richards all almost fouled out guarding him and had no answer for him. Guy was just a defensive monster and powerful down low too. Heck random games he was hitting midrange shots too. Had 25 pts 12 rbs and 4 blocks in the championship while being double teamed all game. If he would’ve stayed healthy I’d take him over KD every time.

  29. @Mr.getrizzyagain

    God bless

  30. @Habeev07

Greg had 13pts/20reb/4blks the game before his injury at only 21. He was easily going to be the best center in the NBA. His body just couldnt sustain it. He also banged so hard in the 09 playoffs that he ended Mutumbos career and caused Yao to tweek his foot so much so that Yao immediately got hurt in the semi's. ODEN WAS NEVER A BUST – He had ALL the skill. POR was 50-12 when Roy/LMA/Oden started together.

  31. @user-hd5sh8pv5q

    Favorite players ever
Brandon Roy 7 and Steph 30

  32. @RipCityStreetfighter503

Beside Roy, Aldridge and Oden the team was deep, Travis Outlaw, Rudy Fernandez, Nic Batum, Steve Blake and Jamal Crawford

  33. @Mike_Benz_

Sucks how injuries at a young age can ruin your dreams

  34. @MrNewstyle23

Greg Oden was special playing basketball. Easily, a 20+ ppg, 10+ rpg, 3 bpg, multi-time Dpoty. He should have been the next great center!

  35. @chenglim1087

If he did not get injured, portland could be a championship team with oden, brandon roy, prime aldridge, dame and maccollum. Their team would be championship contender! So sad. Hoping he is living his life happily to the fullest.

  36. @1fastmex

Porter good looking on bringing Oden up! The Rip City family was ecstatic to get him. Oden gets a lot of undeserved criticism like he was a bust because KD has such a dominant career. Reality is Oden was more dominant than KD before he got injured. Still a great pick for Rip City. Tragic outcome and respect should be shown to Oden.

  37. @jalenmcintyre1660

    Makes me cry😔🥹🥲
