To the headline writer: "Unusual Oddities" is redundant. 🙂
"Thats the best play in baseball history", then the same play is executed by another player 2 highlights later, then again after that 1 highlight later😁
12:55 Howard never touches the base
12:10 I always believed a batter should have the right to a full swing. If your follow through hits the catcher, that's a part of how a swing is swung. Now obviously going overboard is why that rule cant be applied (batters just doing whole twirls if a runner goes) but I just always feel like the batter should have the right to his full swing.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. (Isaiah 66:4)
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
fourth one should replace the Canseco bounce off of his head as the funniest accidental home run
All this talk about balls and bags gives me serious wood
Baseball games need to be limited to only ONE HOUR….max 5 innings! If it HAS to be a double header, 45 minutes MAXIMUM or 3 innings.
Why wasn’t the play at 2:00 an infield fly? I don’t understand how a double play happens here.
The play at 6:33, isn't that a foul ball? At least on the replay, it sure looked like the ball first hit the ground in foul territory. I think that's what Cabrera (who seems to know the game very well) was trying to point out, too.
Unusual oddities? What is a USUAL oddity?
00:25 Regarding the runner who bunted the ball that initially went foul and then rolled back into fair territory, the runner could have kicked/grabbed the ball while it was foul and the play would have been dead. Only a batted ball that hits a runner in fair territory results in an out.
13:04, how is that a double play? 1st baseman never touched first.
Love the vid, but isn't "unusual oddities" an oxymoron? Could have just been oddities. Calling oddities unusual is like calling fire hot.
1:31 is that legal? 😂😂
12:54…..how is that a double play?
That last one is the greatest thing I've ever seen 😂
2:52 This dude sliding into 2nd was totally safe. I think he's safe regardless, but especially if "a tie goes to the runner", then he's definitely safe.
The throw certainly beats the runner, but the tag doesn't.
6:22 is probably the worst announcing I’ve ever heard
4:38 – smart play
