1:02 "ooo look out", was expecting it to follow with "a shot right back at Cobb"

2:34 he didn't even catch the ball. The ball just inserted itself into his glove lol. He didn't even have to move his hand.

2:58 They were all cool, but that was just satisfying

I don't watch baseball, but dickey at 2:58 is some of the cleanest shit anyone can see, period

More common then I thought! I'd actually call such catches "better" then actually being struck. Reaction time 101, and the job of the league pitcher!

It's painful to see what a great pitcher and person we lost, when we list Fernandez.
    RIP with the knowledge that
YOU ARE TRULY MISSED AND NOT FORGOTTEN

When I was a young pitcher I got a concussion from a hit bouncing off the ground and hitting my eyebrow. To me, this will always be the coolest move in sports. I was lucky to witness one in person at a minor league Jackals game this year

    This is pretty impressive

"Look at what I found" is my favorite quote for these kinds of plays. Definitely the best outcome for liners back at the pitcher after watching the alternative result. 🤕

If baseball was just this it wouldn’t be so damn boring
