MLB & NBA Picks for April 30, 2021 | Odds Shark's Guys & Bets

We’re starting to get a feel for a few MLB teams and building up some research data on each to help us handicap the games. Joe Osborne and Gilles Gallant have some juicy spots to grab as they breakdown their bets bets in MLB. Each of the guys also has a pick in the NBA as crunch time is upon us in the final leg of the regular season.

We start on the diamond as the Atlanta Braves are on the road to face the Toronto Blue Jays. This is the first of a three game set between the clubs with Ricky Ray taking the hill for the Jays and the Braves countering with Drew Smyly. The Braves lefty got touched up in his last outing to the tune of six runs (five earned) and three home runs through four innings. Joe is the master of F5 bets and looks to have one his patented locks in this contest.

Sticking with MLB, Joe also has a moneyline bet all set when the Minnesota Twins host the AL Central leading Kansas City Royals. Brady Singer gets the nod for K.C. and has looked good in his last two outings by only surrendering one run and 14 strikeouts over 13 innings. If you’re looking at the total and like recent trends, the Royals have gone UNDER in nine of ten road games so far this season.

You NBA bettors didn’t think Joe would leave you hanging did you??? He’s got a prop bet for Bradley Beal. The scoring title in the NBA is a dead heat, as Beal and Stephen Curry are all-square coming down the stretch as they each average 31.3 points per game.

Gilles starts his picks off with a couple from MLB as well. He’s the King of MLB underdog bets and his first pick is a moneyline wager in the AL with the Baltimore Orioles facing the red-hot Oakland Athletics. The A’s have cooled off recently by dropping three of their last five, after reeling off 13 wins.

Moving along to the AL Central, the Cleveland Indians send their ace Shane Bieber to the mound to take on the Chicago White Sox. Bieber, the 25-year old righty has been dealing this season. He’s racked up 57 K’s through five starts, the second most in MLB behind only Jacob DeGrom. Gilles is betting on Bieber’s strikeout prop in this one.

Being an NBA capper, Gilles had to get at least one bet on the show in the Association. The San Antonio Spurs are in Beantown as they have a date with the Boston Celtics. With eleven games remaining on their schedule the Spurs are in a dog fight in the play-in group. The Celtics are also fighting for Conference positioning and have looked lost without Kemba Walker.
