Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mickey Moniak recently spent his morning at Orange Grove Elementary as part of the Angels Adopt-A-School program, presented by OC Waste & Recycling. Moniak shared baseball stories and encouragements about working hard to achieve your goals with the students and staff!

I love Moniak, Moniak > Ohtani. Just wish he’d steal more bases. He had 2 in his first game this season & 0 since. Maybe there’s some injury history, don’t know the full story. I just know I’ll be keeping Moniak in my dynasty for years to come, he’s very fun to watch, very inspiring

And what's he talking about Mike being dedicated and hard working? Mike takes so many days off especially when Ohtani pitches. He doesn't have enough desire to win.
Not gonna lie, the only thing I knew about this kid before clicking is that he was on the Angels. Only reason I knew that, is from seeing his name in the box score when I'm checking Ohtani's stats. Seems like a respectable young man, who clearly appreciates and is learning from the greatness around him, and I'll be rooting for him.
