And the problem is everyone talks about last season well last season is over. The Spartans were excellent last year. But that season ended. Close hard fought games sometimes you win them and sometimes you lose them. Look at Nebraska last year so close from being that team that would shock the hell out of everyone but simply came up short. So I want to see if msu can take adversity. I’m going with 7-5 potentially 6-6. That schedule is difficult.
The Spartans have a very difficult schedule anybody on any giving week can beat them if they don’t bring their best game. They will certainly have to be able to not just run the football they will need to air it out and use crossing routes to get explosive plays. My concern is defense can’t always get it done you need explosion and you must be well balanced.
7-5 sounds right to me. Could be 6-6 would be shocked if they go any better then 7-5

I would switch the games against Maryland and Penn State but other than that, I agree.

I agree with 9-3 record but I think they would lose to Penn State on the road and win at Maryland barely
I got 9-3 no more than 3 games.
MSU went 10-2 last season, and they got better over the offseason in my opinion. I'm not saying that a 9-3 prediction is wrong, because I do think that it's very likely, but a 10-2 prediction is nothing crazy either.
I don't necessarily have a problem with these predictions. In recent history, when MSU is having great seasons, they do tend to get tripped up by a team that they aren't supposed to lose to. Purdue in 2021 and Nebraska in 2015 when MSU went to the playoff are examples. So I don't have a real problem with the Maryland loss prediction. But I will say this: Michigan State has won 10 games out of the last 14 against Michigan. Michigan was projected to win in almost every single one of those 14 games, with very few exceptions.
I think Michigan State finishes 8-4 in 2022.

I think Michigan State goes 10-2 with loses to Ohio State and a random upset team. It is totally possible for Michigan State to go 9-3 or 8-4 but I believe in this team 🟩⬜️
