Harry McGuire deserves better. United let him down.

tbh i feel like ronaldos at peace with himself not winning the ucl anymore. his reaction at 9:04 looks like hes disappointed with losing ofc but doesnt hold any expections of victory anyway. maybe the fact that messi also dropped out in the ro16 helped in realizing that its not that only his time is over, but the old era in general is over.

Bad line up by Ralph R the rookie coach that they hired. Why he keeps starting Maguire why we will never know. Maguire keeps scoring own goals and making big mistakes. Why he put Marcus Rashford in for Elanga. Ralph R had no major trophies 🏆 as a head coach and no experience in Champions League. This was huge mistake by the club to hire Ralph as coach.

Spurs fan who was watching because I wanted United to lose, and even I have to admit the referee was absolutely atrocious. One of the worst decisions had to be when he stopped play for Llorente's none head injury when United were in a very promising position.

these little moments of imperfection and shortcoming–Fred hitting Oblak's head, Samcho shooting just over the bar in what could be one of best goals ever, De Gea failing to protect near corner; Rangnick sending out Mata who needs time to find his rhythm and get into the came, and isn't really a ''route 1' type player–all this characterizes failed seasons like this. MU not the first or last team full of potential that goes through this, but it doesn't make it any better. you could always see the defensive fragility in them, even as Rangnick as a German specialist ought to be good at tightening his team at the back. Ronaldo magic could work against equally struggling side like Spurs who also have changed several coaches lately, but clearly not against well drilled Atletico managed for a near decade now by one of the best tacticians out there

Fernandes and Ronaldo don't work in the same team. That's why Portugal struggles
